The film illustrates the development from manual labor to industrialisation, the increased speed and dehumanisation of production procedures and the risks of uncontrolled growths purely through the use of film extracts from Irish and British archive material. The climatic evolution of the experimental documentary is accompanied by the ever prominent melodies of the Uilleann Pipes, which where improvised and recorded specificaly for the short film.
