Teams of filmmakers across Cork will have just two days, from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June, to write, shoot and edit their brand-new original short films. Not only that, but they must adhere to a whole new set of special rules – it’s truly filmmaking on hard mode! Once their films have been completed, they will be judged by a panel of industry experts and awarded across a range of categories. We had a record breaking crowd attend our third Christmas Special on the 17th December. Every film screened was made specially for our beloved Christmas Challenge - filmmakers were asked to create a Christmas film of any genre, medium or style. The result was a mixture of horror, drama, romance, comedy, music and animation. Our wonderful guest judges, Baz Black and Emma Ray, gave awards for Best film, Best Script, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Performance. Our c
