Cork City's 48 Hour Film Challenge 2025

On the 27th to the 29th June, we held our second Cork City 48 Hour Film Challenge with the aim for each team was to write, shoot and edit a five minute short film within 48 hours while also adhering to some specific rules. Each team were given a choice of two genres to write from. A week prior to the challenge, each team had to write their final line of dialogue. Each film also had to have a scene/shot set on the Bell's Field in Cork City.
On the 29th of June, we saw 9 new films made by each team involved and an awards ceremony commenced afterwards. Take a look at the films made and where the films are not available online, we suggest getting into contact with the creators if you want to view them.
