People's Picturehouse Showcase February 2026 - Shot for Seachtain

It was a very special occasion at February's Picturehouse - our first Shot for Seachtain at the Irish Language Special.

Filmmakers created all new shorts as Gaeilge based on their favourite films, and we also had some great submissions - thanks especially to our friends at Little Cinema Galway.
Míle buíochas to our wonderful host Seán Mac Gearailt!
Let’s take a quick look back at the works shared on the night!
Thanks to those who joined us on the night, those who submitted their films for screening, and thank you to @thepav.ie as usual for hosting us!
