A Short Film By Adam O'Lomasney

"My work is primarily digital media, specifically video. I tend to intertwine sculpture and sketching into my main practice. My work explores the merging of surrealism and realism through unsettling visuals that deal with dreamlike imagery through the environments that surround us, such as the land, the sea, and space. Through these subjects, I sew threads of mental fragility, depicting how quickly one can spiral out of reality through isolation and dissociation. I also explore these themes using unorthodox soundscapes to further immerse the viewer in those feelings mentioned. As the themes I choose to explore are typically considered to be bleak, I attempt to depict human connections such as friendships as a light at the end of the tunnel." - Adam O'Lomasney
